Inventory check module

Collections inventory checking is easily and efficiently carried out using the Adlib inventory check application. This application is an optional additional module for the Adlib Archive, Adlib Museum, and Adlib Library systems.

For example, imagine you wish to carry out an inventory check in a storeroom with no network connection. You can download (part of) your collection onto your laptop to use for the check. You can check your collection items by simply checking off the objects/publications/archive boxes you find in the right places. You can then generate a report of exceptions after re-synchronising with the Adlib database, and the inventory check information is added to the records.

This module is in the beta-phase presently, and will be released during 2010. This application software is available only to Adlib systems that are based on MS SQL Server or Oracle database platforms.
